A poet, essayist, critic, and native Oklahoman, T. Cole Rachel now makes Brooklyn his home. He is a frequent contributor to V magazine and the recipient of the T. Marsh Reese Prize from the Academy of American Poets. His first book, Surviving the Moment of Impact, was published in 2002 by Soft Skull Press. He recently co-edited Bend, Don't Shatter: Poets on the Beginnings of Desire.
